Maintaining Travel History

Listing Cross-Border Travel:

When applying, you'll need to list every time you crossed the border of your native country. The form requires details such as:

  • Destination: Country traveled to

  • Dates: Exact dates of departure and return (as per passport stamps)

  • Purpose: Reason for travel

  • Activities: Description of activities during the trip

Police Verification for Extended Stay:

If you have lived outside your country for 6 months or more, you'll also need a police verification from that country.

TIPS

  • If the number of your trips exceeds the number of lines in the application, please add a separate section in the LOE (Letter of Explanation) mentioning all trips.
